18, 2008 The TRUTH (but who's telling
it?)
On Day 2 (Monday) my scheduled reading from the Holy Book was from Romans ch1:
vv1-17, however, I didn't stop there, I read verse 18, too. In my version, it reads:- "For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress
the TRUTH."
In "The Scriptures" available from the ISR, the same verse reads, "For the wrath of Elohim is revealed from heaven against all wickedness and unrighteousness of
men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."
This morning Day 5 (Thursday)
in Charles Spurgeon's "Morning and Evening" words from that same verse were quoted.
As teachers of The Word, it is imperative that we do not suppress the TRUTH in our own unrighteousness, we have
to be right with God (Elohim), or suffer the consequences, it is true that we are saved by El's grace, but, if we
know the TRUTH, we should not be holding back from teaching the TRUTH. The holiday period, the
world calls Christmas is fast approaching, if you are a Pastor, a teacher of the Word, then now is a good time to tell the
TRUTH about Yahushua, (Jesus real name) of the Bible. Yahweh(יהוה)Elohim will be with you when you do. If you are more afraid of your congregation than you are of Elohim,
or more worried about what people might say, then dear friend, I would question your calling. We were called to be bold. Be
bold for Messiah Yahushua and take His message forward. Return to Elohim, listen to what He is saying, a verse just
came to mind, I believe comes from Matthew, "Blessed rather are those who hear the Word of Elohim, and obey
it."
Brother, Sister - Be Blessed!!
